From a very early age I was lucky enough to know the profession I wanted. From my first job working with show horses to learning how to break and school youngsters at a well known equestrian centre, horses have always been my passion.
I started my own riding school age 18 and progressed into producing horses for sale between 3-6 years, many of which have gone on to compete at high levels. My husband and I bought Kelmscott Farm and developed a good reputation for finding and selling quality horses and ponies for clients, with well trained staff to compliment our team.
I was fortunate enough to provide Her Majesty the Queen with two grey carriage horses, giving me valuable contacts. I went on to sell over 25 horses for the Royal Mews and also had the privilege of meeting The Queen in person to update her on all her horses' progress.
I took B.H.S. exams after training at Wellington Riding Centre. This helped to refine my skills and teach them more successfully to others. Over the years I have competed in B.S.J.A show jumping, dressage and combined training on many fantastic horses. I have learnt to understand the importance of the incredible bond between horse and rider in great detail.
As a fully insured accredited B.H.S Coach I now focus on teaching, helping horse lovers find the right partnerships and also offer small scale livery options at Kelmscott Farm. I love to compete and enjoy improving my own horses.
